The beauty world is big on audacious names. Thereare the classics like Orgasm blush and Better Than Sex mascara, followed by more recent additions like NYX's Worth the Hype mascara (hot take: eh) and the Goop x Heretic This Smells Like My Vagina Candle. A skincare brand named Go-To is on the tame side of things, but still a bold move — yet according to hundreds of shoppers, the brand's Face Hero oil is indeed unbeatable.

For a little backstory on the Aussie brand, Go-To was founded a few years ago by beauty editor and author Zoë Foster Blake, with the goal of simplifying skincare and cutting through the saturated industry's clutter. Per the brand, it makes "obsessively created, stringently formulated, useful skincare that you'll like using, and your skin will love. Now, and in 10 years time." Going by that ethos, Go-To features a not-overwhelming number of products, and its best-seller is the 10-ingredient Face Hero oil.

"This is everything I never knew my face needed. It instantly revitalizes my skin, giving it a soft glow and immediately making me feel younger by the minute," writes one person. Another says, "First of all, the smell is wonderful. But I had one of those (rare for me) moments where I touched my face at some random time, and actually noticed how soft and smooth it felt. That never happens to me."

The formula inside Face Hero's melon-pink bottle doesn't pull any punches, as you can probably tell from those raves. The highlights: It relies on jojoba oil, rosehip oil, evening primrose oil, sweet almond oil, macadamia oil, brazil nut oil, apricot kernel oil, and buriti oil, along with vitamin E and flower extracts for a mix of essential fatty acids and antioxidants.

How do those speak to the anti-aging capabilities? Glad you asked. Dr. Dendy Engelman, MD, a NYC-based dermatologist, previously told InStyle that jojoba oil can protect from environmental aggressors and soften fine lines and wrinkles, and rosehip oil is especially great for those looking to board the youth train. "Due to its small molecular structure, rosehip oil has the ability to penetrate the deep layers of the skin to stimulate collagen and reduce fine lines and wrinkles," cosmetic dermatologist Dr. Michele Green has told InStyle.

The ingredient is packed with vitamins C and A — the latter of which is the basis of retinol — plus omega fatty acids that promote skin cell turnover, skin elasticity, and improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation. As one Face Hero reviewer says after a few months of use, those claims check out. "I noticed a very big difference in my skin elasticity, [and] wrinkles have just smoothed away."

The ingredient's potency, mixed with anti-inflammatory vitamin E, brightening vitamin C, and the softening suite of plant oils, makes for a crowd-pleaser. "I've seen an improvement in hydration, even in the midst of a season change from 100 percent humidity to desert dry," writes a shopper. "Already there's been a decrease in the appearance of pesky dark spots on my face."

Those with easily-angered skin also find relief from the aptly named Face Hero. "I have lupus so I get flares of my skin, and this is the only thing that rescues my face from it. I can't live without this face oil," a reviewer shares. Another calls it "literally the cure" for their psoriasis and dry skin, the golden oil a "lifesaver" for skin — and those with eczema heap similar praise onto the non-clogging and cruelty-free product.

A skincare veteran writes: "I've tried lots of face oils, and this hands down is the best one. The smell is amazing, the price is amazing, and I've noticed the fine lines on my face softening." They added, "I've struggled with acne breakouts in the past, but this has completely cleared it up."

As someone who reads product reviews for a living, even the best buys usually come with a smattering of people who aren't so pleased. Yet Face Hero seems like an anomaly; 23 pages deep in the reviews, and I haven't come across one person with a negative word to say. Just reviews like this last one: "I can go on and on about this product. My face could be very irritated, and after I use this, by the next day my face is back with its natural glow. This is magic in a bottle."

Only thing left is to try it for yourself.
