Long before Gabriel Guilbeau was cast as Chef Gator on Yellowstone, the California native was working as an actual chef on the set of the show. But in a delicious twist of fate, Gator was soon plucked from the catering line to become a character on the show.

As the personal chef to the Dutton family (helmed by patriarch Kevin Costner), Gator is known for his cajun-inspired meals and homestyle food. Now, the real-life Gator is cooking up some new recipes inspired by the show for Yellowstone: The Official Dutton Ranch Family Cookbook.
